Privacy Policy
Last reviewed: 25 August 2026. This policy covers the website goldenspinpalace.org and nothing else.
The short version
Golden Spin Palace is a set of informational pages. There are no accounts, no logins, no wallets and no payments on this site. The only personal information we ever receive is what you choose to type into our contact form, plus the technical request data our web server records automatically. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not build advertising profiles.
Who is responsible
The site is published by the independent editorial team behind Golden Spin Palace, an information publisher rather than a gambling operator. Privacy questions, access requests and complaints all go to [email protected].
The law we work under
Personal information is handled in line with the Privacy Act 2020 and its Information Privacy Principles. Where a provider stores data outside New Zealand, IPP 12 applies and we use providers bound to comparable safeguards.
What is collected, and why
- Contact form messages — your email address and the text you send, used only to answer you (IPP 1). Giving us a real address is optional; without one we cannot reply.
- Server request logs — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referring URL and browser string, recorded automatically for security, abuse prevention and aggregate traffic counts.
- Local browser storage — your age confirmation and your cookie-banner choice, held on your own device rather than sent to us. See the Cookie Policy.
These editorial pages carry no advertising pixels and no third-party analytics tags. We never collect payment details, identity documents, betting history or any gambling account data — that information belongs to operators, not to us.
How long it is kept
Contact emails are kept while an enquiry is open and for a short period afterwards in case you follow up, then deleted. Server logs rotate on the hosting platform's schedule and are not archived for profiling.
Who else can see it
Our hosting provider processes requests on our behalf. Beyond that, personal information is not used or disclosed for an unrelated purpose unless you authorise it, the information is already public, or disclosure is required by New Zealand law (IPP 10–11).
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable steps to protect the little information we hold (IPP 5). No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Access, correction and deletion
You may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it (IPP 6–7). Email [email protected]; we reply within 20 working days, as the Act requires.
When you leave this site
Outbound links, including links to TAB NZ, take you to organisations with their own privacy policies and their own data practices. Read theirs before you register. Ours stops at the edge of this domain.
Under 18s
This site is for adults aged 18 and over and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe a minor has contacted us, email us and the message will be deleted.
Complaints
Come to us first: [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner — privacy.org.nz, 0800 803 909.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes we replace this page and move the review date at the top. The version published here is always the current one.
