Most cookie policies list categories that may or may not apply. This one lists what goldenspinpalace.org actually places on your device, so you can check it against your browser.

What we store, item by item

• age_confirmed (local storage, kept until you clear it) — remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or over, so the age notice is not shown on every page.
• cookie_consent (local storage, kept until you clear it) — remembers whether you accepted or declined the cookie banner, so the banner stops reappearing.
• Referral parameters on outbound clicks — when you open an operator through one of our links, the destination may record that the visit came from this site. That tracking is set and controlled by the operator or its affiliate platform, not by us, and it is what allows a commission to be attributed.

Note that the first two items are browser local storage rather than cookies: they stay on your device and are never transmitted to us. Clearing site data for this domain removes them, after which the age notice and cookie banner will appear again.

What we do not use

These editorial pages run no advertising cookies, no retargeting pixels, no social plug-ins and no third-party analytics or heat-mapping tags. We do not have a profile of you to share, and we do not sell data.

Managing it yourself

Every major browser can block or delete cookies and site data, per site or in bulk, and private or incognito windows discard both when closed. Data leaving New Zealand

Our hosting provider may process requests on servers outside New Zealand. Where that happens we rely on providers bound to safeguards comparable to the Privacy Act 2020, as described in our Privacy Policy.
